Three former Baylor track and field athletes and one current Bear had success over the weekend at the USA Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass.

Headlined by six event champions, the Baylor track and field team closed out the Big 12 Championships with the women placing third and the men taking seventh at the Lied Recreation Center Saturday.

Baylor track and field senior Rachel Johnson highlighted Friday's action at the Big 12 Indoor Championships at the Lied Recreation Center by winning the 5,000-meter event title.

Baylor track and field returns 21 All-Big 12 performers, including four who have won Big 12 Indoor titles to the 2015 Big 12 Indoor Championships hosted by Iowa State at the Lied Recreation Center in Ames, Iowa, Friday and Saturday.

The Baylor women's distance medley relay team of Mariah Kelly, Kiana Hawn, Olicia Williams and Maggie Montoya were recognized as Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Female Athletes of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.

The Baylor track and field teams wrapped up regular season indoor action Saturday by establishing two new school records at the Alex Wilson Invitational.
