Two heptathletes kicked off the Baylor track and field team's participation in the 88th-annual Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Wednesday at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

After establishing an NCAA-leading time Friday at the TCU Invitational, Baylor hurdler Tiffani McReynolds was named the Big 12 Female Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

After winning six events at its outdoor season opener, the Baylor track and field team will travel to Austin, Texas, for four days of competition at the 88th-annual Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Both the Baylor men's and women's track and field teams made the preseason edition of the USTFCCCA Outdoor Team Rankings, the organization announced on Tuesday.

In rainy conditions, Baylor's track and field team produced six event wins on Friday at the TCU Invitational at Lowdon Track and Field Stadium.
