Ackera Nugent, a sophomore at Baylor representing Jamaica, placed second in the women's 100-meter hurdles in a wind-legal 12.45 seconds at the Big 12 Championships at the Terry and Linda Fuller Track and Field Complex in Lubbock, Texas. Nugent also contributed to a third-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay in 43.65 seconds.
